Bringing the normal to normal

by lighting the dark corners of the world

With a burning passion to explore the unknowns of the world, I aim to tell stories through balanced visual media, providing facts and evidence from both perspectives.

Hi, I’m Carina, a Photodocumentary and Portrait Photographer

Let’s get to know each other

As a young girl exposed to injustice and inequality, I was inspired to change perspectives, fostering a deep interest in narrating stories through unbiased and factual work. My personal life was clouded with fear from family and media influences. Today, I am resolute in unveiling the unknown, confronting and conquering fear through my storytelling endeavors.

Relationship with Travel & Visual Art & Design

Personal experiences led me to pursue media, fueled by a natural affinity for design, technology, and art. Supported by family and friends, I pursued studies in creative arts and media at SCAD and VanArts.

Storytelling

I aim to collaborate with both profit and nonprofit organizations, alongside individuals who share similar values. My goal is to hold them accountable and bring truth and beauty to light through video, film, or still images.

“As I get rid of my own hate, biases and fear of the unknown. I capture the lessons I’ve learned and share it with those who are willing to listen and be a driving force for them to start a conversation of their own.”
